Bio

Jeffrey was born on July 22, 1982 to a single mother in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After the passing of his mother at the age of 8, he was raised by his grandmother Clairona. He led a simple life living in the town of Saint Pierre, located a few hours outside of Port-Au-Prince, in the northern part of the country. The town had no electricity or running water. Food had to be grown in order to eat or sell it at a local town market. Water had to be carried by hand from miles and miles away. He later moved to the United States, at age 13, to live with his father, along with three other half-siblings, his father Israel, had just gotten a divorce, and had three other children. 

Jeffrey graduated from West High School in 2000, then Jeffrey joined the United States Marines Corps in 2002. He graduated with Recruit Training from Parris Island, South Carolina. Jeffrey was assigned to the 1st Battalion 1st Marine 1st Mar Division Headquarters and Supply Company Motor Transportation Platoon. He successfully completed two combat tours in Iraq: Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He also was a part of other operations assigned to the unit while deployed, such as Operation Unified Assurance Indonesia and Sri Lanka in order to help out with the Tsunami relief.

Upon returning to the United States from the second deployment, he later relocated to a new duty station to a unit called Chemical Biological Incidents Response Force (CBIRF), where he finished his remaining tour on active duty. Then he joined the reserve in late 2009. In July 2010, he joined the Marine Forces Reserve, which is located in Federal City in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jeffrey volunteered to join a reserve unit, based out of Chicago, Illinois. They were to deploy to assist training the Georgia Deployment Program (the country of Georgia in Eastern Europe). In 2009, the Republic of Georgia offered to provide infantry battalions to serve in Afghanistan.

Upon returning from Georgia, Jeffrey continued pursuing an acting career. Jeffrey was introduced to acting in 2005 while station in California. He was unable to focus more on his acting career, but shortly after he arrived to New Orleans in 2010. He attended an actors’ workshop at Jaq’s Acting Studio, where he learned monologue, improvisation, on-camera auditions, scene study, and cold read. He also studied acting with Erica Michelle (Actors Play House), Jim Gleason, and Lance Nichols. Jeffrey attended Grand Canyon University in April 2018 with a Bachelor of Art in Digital Film with an emphasis in production, and in 2019 with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Law Enforcement.

Jeffrey was featured in NCIS: New Orleans; African Oscars Award-winning Short Film “A Hat is not Enough”, which he also co-produced with Clyde R.
